"I have lived in the University Neighborhood for over 20 years, and have patronized the Westcott Street Commerical District longer than that. The Westcott Street Cultural Fair would not be as memorable for me without the annual Boom Babies sale. I have never been disappointed not to find something unique to buy that day. It has become a tradition for me and my teenage daughter. My family and friends meet, eat and drink at the area's various venues: Dorian's, Alto Cino's, Munjed's, Mom's Diner, Recess, and the Metro Lounge. Seven Rays is a unique shopping experience as is the Second Story Bookstore. I certainly don't want to leave any of the establishments out of my accolades, so, let me just say that my family, friends and I enjoy the Westcott Street Commercial District immensely...all of it! We are lucky to have it within walking distance of our home." -Joanne S.
"I am a young professional musician who appreciates University neighborhood life. It is fun. It is vital. It is new. It is always delicious!" - Ian S.
